Pulau Kemaro

The appeal of the Kemaro island is a 9-storey pagoda towering in the middle of the island and Soei Goeat Kiong temple or better known as Kuan Yin temple built in 1962. In front of the pagoda there is the tomb of Tan Bun An (Prince) and Siti Fatimah (Princesses) located side by side. Their love story is the legend of this island. The temples and tombs are frequently visited by tourists in particular during Cap Go Meh event of every Lunar New Year.
